Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- The FA Group has a proud 148 year history in providing fundraising support to a range of national and international charities and contributes a substantial donation from The FA’s Community Shield Fund to charitable organisations.
- We are active partners across the borough of Brent and our activities range from highlighting the rich cultural diversity of the borough, helping enthuse and educate its young people, through to ensuring that local people can feel and enjoy the benefits of Wembley Stadium.
- The FA Group also works with its contractors and London Borough of Brent to encourage local recruitment of staff and volunteers for its normal operations. On major event days approximately 30% of the workforce is employed from the Brent area.
- We are also committed to managing the environmental impact of our operations. In particular, we are extremely aware of our responsibility to respond to the many challenges of climate change. In recognition of our efforts, we were recently awarded with the Industry Greening Mark for venues. Carbon reduction is a key priority and we are extremely conscious of energy and water consumption and waste management. We continually review our procurement practices to improve sustainability.
